Abduction is a term that refers to the experience of a large number of people that pretend to have been kidnapped by aliens and submitted to various treatments. These abduction victims often experience memory loss and "missing time". Some of them have been able to recall their abductions from memory and others have recalled their abductions by the aid of hypnosis. Often these encounters involve being taken aboard an alien craft and examined by the UFOnauts and put through a variety of physical and mental procedures. Then the individuals are returned. Many of the abduction victims have shown signs of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

If the 1992 Roper Poll is correct, one in fifty people may have had these type experiences. If it is true then it is also possible that what is occurring with abductees may be the beginning of something much larger. It may be the beginning of a global modification plan.

Abduction Evidences

There has been possible material evidence of Alien contacts. Set appart the material traces of burned grass and earth where UFOs have landed, UFOs shown on radar tapes, UFOs on film and in photos, there are the disturbing bodily traces on abductees including scoop-marks in the flesh, incisions, burns, apparent radiation exposure, bruises, inflammation, etc. But such such marks could have been self-inflicted by the contactees. It is also reminiscent of the stigma of the christian martyrs who imitate by self-suggestion the passion of the Christ.

The recovered implants that have the shape of tiny round balls, or triangular mineral-like objects are yet to be identified as alien in nature. They could be similar to the stones that are found in kidneys which are normal concretion, usually composed of mineral salts, occurring chiefly in the hollow organs of their passages. A suggested way to gather evidences would be to spy the abductees as they claim to be visited by their alien raptors on a regular basis.

Professor David Jacob's book "The Threat" had some references along the lines of "videocamera detection equipment" (pgs. 24, 113-114, 253, & 262n). "Training a video camera and recorder on an abductee every night has produced limited results. Some abductees report a dramatic decrease in abductions. Most report that the frequency of abductions tends to decrease only a bit. So far, no abductions have been videotaped. Rather, tapes reveal people getting up and inexplicably turning off the VCR, or unusual power outages during which the camera turns off, or the camera simply goes off mysteriously."

Barney and Betty Hill
The modern era of abductions began with the Barney and Betty Hill UFO close encounter of September 1961 in New Hampshire. The Hills were driving through the White Mountains of New Hampshire from Canada to their home in Portsmouth when they sighted a UFO. Later they were apparently taken aboard the landed craft and subjected to various tests and medical examinations. This occurred in mid September of 1961 (Fuller 3-19). For several months after the experience the Hills were still experiencing traumatic stress symptoms for which they sought psychiatric help. The Hills were referred to Dr. Benjamin Simon who used hypnosis to uncover the cause of the Hills' anxiety symptoms. What Dr. Simon discovered would startle the world and would provide the first glimpse into the abduction phenomenon.

As new UFO investigators joined the hunt in trying to solve the worlds most elusive mystery, they, largely, accepted hypnosis sessions with abductees as a legitimate detective tool to seek the truth behind abduction.

Linda Cortile
A recent case made the headlines because of its spectacular setting; it has taken place in Manhattan, New York on 30 November 1989. It involves all the classic elements of conspiracy and, ultimately, confusion.

Linda Cortile reported to abduction researcher Budd Hopkins that she had been floated on a blue beam of light from her 12th floor apartment, located opposite the busy New York Times loading bay, and underwent the standard abduction procedure onboard a UFO. Over a year later Hopkins received a letter from two men, Richard and Dan who claimed to have been security officers escorting United Nations Secretary Perez de Cuellar across the city when their car stalled and they saw Mrs. Cortile and aliens float into a large UFO which then flew into the East River and disappeared. Months later another woman came forward and claimed to have witnessed the event from Brooklyn Bridge. The media all over the world covered the story, but an investigation by George Hansen, Joe Stefula (once state Mutual UFO Network director for New Jersey) and Rich Butler found the case even stranger than it at first appeared. Cortile claimed to have been kidnapped, threatened and sexually harassed by the two "security officers" (who later appeared to be CIA agents), yet refused to make a police report. There were many serious discrepancies between the statements of those involved, yet the case was aggressively defended by some of the most prominent figures in American ufology. Most relevant to this study are the striking similarities between Cortile's story and a book called Nighteyes, by Garfield Reeves-Stevens, first published in April 1989, a few months before Linda Cortile first told her story to Hopkins. Hansen, Stefula and Butler detail some of the striking similarities between the book and the Cortile.

I do believe in this and I really do think there are aliens from other worlds that are there to teach us and to experiment on us etc. Afterall we are aliens that come from another planet as we came from outer space and then we were born in the water first and then on land. Plus there has to be other beings because there can not only be us in the entire universe. So how big is the universe. Some scientist believe that it is still expanding.
