The Ghosts of Christchurch Priory
PHANTOM WORKER
If you are wondering through the graveyard of the Priory late at night you may hear phantom knocking. Where is it coming from? It is believed to be a possible recording from the past of work being done on the priory. On a visit here late at night i heard this exact knocking. it seemed to be coming from the stone of the building. We could not trace an exact point of origin. It did sound very much like a hammer and chizel chipping away at the fabric of the building.. very strange!
THE MONK
Christchurch Priory has a phantom monk that wonders the old priory, he has been seen in solid form wondering around the rafters and the bell tower itself. Many witnesses are scared stiff by the phantom monk who has been seen wearing a black habit.
THE GRAVEYARD
The graveyard is also haunted. One witness saw a white figure drifting across the churchyard late at night, it was seen to disapear behind some tree's
