THE HOUSE WE LIVED IN 20 YEARS AGOMy hubby and I got married 20 years ago and had to get a house in featherstone where the pit houses were. It had two coal fires and it was warmer than the one we had. I was heavily pregnant with Ruth so we had to choose a house quick. We got a haunted house we moved in at the year of the hurricaine in 1987 - november and I was put in hospital for a month being ill with Ruth.
Then it dawned on me that the old lady who died before we got the house haunted it and she did not like us moving in her house. She was a dreadful ghost. She haunted us for years and scared the children cos I had 3 of them all together. she use to watch Ian and I when we had our moments and all sorts. sh showed her self once one night even more and scared the hell out of us. So I shouted at her and screamed aswell. Things funnily enough started getting better and then we moved in to a central heated house leaving the ghost of the old lady. Now her house has been demolished so what is built there will still be haunted by her.

i wonderi wonder if the old lady is still haunting the grounds where her house once stood?

She will be as she was bitter the way she died as she had bad asthma and was a rather demanding woman.

I didnt quite care for the woman I remember her standing over my crib when I was a baby....(shudders) thats y i cried alot mum scary woman
