To be of the wiccan faith you dont have to believe in any sort of god. men and women are equal in wicca and work together as equals even though they have oppisite energies.
I am a white witch and like all white witches i care for the earth and i dont run around putting curses on people. Infact i knew a black witch once that was casting curses on her friends n family but in the end it all came back on her worse then what she had delt.
Most covens take oaths not to do cast curses and the coven acts as a safety net that prevents you from going off and dealing curses. there are also spells that can help the prevention of curses being made.

There are spells to get rid of bad vibes, love spells. There are spells for everything and it is the oldest religion around. I use to be a solitary witch myself.

I have been a lone witch all my life,initiated by my grandmother who was the high priestess of a kent coven,Ive been brought up to believe that witches are neither black or white,but if you live by the code of wicca,you will harm none,full circles are cast by those who do,those who follow the path of wicca have a long journey,with knowledge at every turn,but this is the beauty of it,it can be a hard path to follow sometimes,and sometimes you are ridiculed by people who dont understand,but to know you are being watched over guided and guarded and knowing you are following the true path makes everything in life worthwhile
