#1 I think cryptozoology is the right term #2 hope I am in the right area for this.
question to all my mates in Britain....do you still have sitings of the "big cats?" I think I saw one...
One night coming home late we drove into our courtyard. we pulled in just far enough that I was going to get out with our daughter and go in the house. there was only a small light on the outside of the house there and did not provide sufficient light for the garage/shed at the other end. as we pulled in something very large, very fast ran by and simply jumped up on the stone wall (that was over 5 feet high) and paused. other than that fleeting shape, I saw a thick long tail I THINK was striped but I do remember the eyes, green glowing back. we actually saw that and pulled forward just a little and just stopped staring back at whatever that was and then just as quick it was gone. (the husband actually parked the car right there!!!) we didnt see any evidence of anything the next day and never saw it again.....that would have been late '84 I think.....now a long time ago but that memory is so vivid - still haunts me...

wonderful! I really really wish I would have reported it to the local authorities as we were surrounded by sheep farms (gosh, imagine that LOL) first of all that would have maybe helped protect the area a bit better though I dont recall hearing any loss of livestock but secondly it would have made record, the now-ex thought it was a dog....no. it was feline and I have seen lynx and bobcats - it was significantly bigger and the stone wall was nothing to it....looking forward to what you find. I know there is a site on the internet, if I can pull that up I will add info. thanks again. _________________ plays well with others but runs with scissors |

Black leopards seen near shops
MYSTERY big cats are said to have been spotted prowling around a popular shopping mall in September 2006
Two species of cat - a black leopard and a puma - have been seen near the Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.
There have been 35 sightings in the past three months.
On one occasion, a black Leopard was spotted in broad daylight by a family eating in the meal enclosure near McDonalds.
continued...
The sightings were reported to Kent Big Cat Research. Neil Arnold founded the group, which studies eyewitness reports of exotic cats, 15 years ago.
It aims to make the public aware big cats such as the puma, black leopard and lynx are roaming the county.
Mr Arnold said: "Hundreds of witnesses have seen cats within several miles of Bluewater.
"My aims are to see the animals are recognised and protected and I want to make the public aware of what's out there."
The cats are timid and will only attack as a last resort.
If you spot a big cat, call Mr Arnold on 01634 302572 _________________ The supernatural & paranormal is out there.

Hello Madmart!! things have been a little complicated lately so havent been on much. good info on the big cats. any suspicions the leopards and pumas are former pets? like with my siting, I thought I saw stripes. I would hate to see proof via body, would be great to have a picture! _________________ plays well with others but runs with scissors |
