hello everyone I have found this story in a English news paper it is about a police force in Walsall England who have been receiving loads of reports of ghost hauntings in their area :-

Police receive eight reports of paranormal activity in Walsall

( story found in Walsall Advertiser  Newspaper ENGLAND )

The Walsall Advertiser Newspaper in England writes that there as been MULTIPLE reports of ghost, werewolf, witch and zombie sightings which have been reported to police in Walsall over the last 3 years.

New figures reveal that the local police force have received eight paranormal reports between 2011 and 2013 – including six in 2013 alone.

A Freedom of Information request, which has been published on the West Midlands Police website, reveals that police have received 71 reports of ghosts, werewolves, witches and zombies across the region between 2011 and 2013.

The reports include ghost, zombie and witch sightings, hearing and communicating with the aforementioned, the use of witchcraft, claims to be a witch and witch hunters.

But police have confirmed that six of the calls were proven to be malicious – and have warned residents who make those calls that they are wasting police time.

“Our officers routinely see the consequences of spirits when things go bump, but that tends to be of a night when the pubs have closed their doors and we’re making sure people get home safely,” said Billy Corrigan, West Midlands Police spokesperson.

“While the figures can seem amusing, behind some of these ‘supernatural’ calls may be a deeply troubled individual or a person wasting valuable police time which would be better spent preventing real crimes.

“West Midlands Police always take action against those found to be knowingly making false and malicious calls to the emergency services.”

The Advertiser has reported a series of supernatural occurrences across the borough in the past which have been investigated by the Willenhall-based West Midlands Ghost Club (WMGC).

In 2009, there were reports of three highwaymen armed with muskets on Barr Beacon Hill – added to by an evil presence spooking a couple in a field at the picturesque site.

Ghost hunters were also in the borough in 2007 when a potential ghost sighting was reported in Rushall Road;- The ghost of ‘the lady in grey’ was allegedly witnessed close to the parish church, with WMGC claiming to have received half a dozen reported sightings.

And in 2006, experts were called to the former Chicago Rock Cafe following reported ‘bizarre’ and unexplained happenings at the long-established town venue in a Grade II listed building;-  Staff described seeing pins flying out of walls and a strange presence around them.
