There is meant to be a naked ghost that appears by the River Dove in yorkshire.The ghost is reported to be that of a young lady by the name of Kitty Garthwaite who its said that 200 years ago was left pregnant by her suitor, who refused to acknowledge her and the unborn child . Its reported that kitty drowned herself in the river and that her ghost now she seeks revenge by attempting to lure young men and other passers- bys to a similar watery death.
